The Beauty spot is a modern Beauty & spa salon offering traditional holistic and the latest treatments for both skin & body care.
We are also proud stockists of Australian owned Ultraceuticals, Dr spiller skin care.
The Beauty Spot was established in the early 1990’s by the then owner Trish McAuliffe which was the first Beauty Salon to open in Renmark. Trish quickly established herself as a makeup artist with Italo Vadaro and the salon grew which lead me to join her in 1995.
The salon then moved to Ral Ral Avenue where Michele soon after purchased the business in 2014 before renaming to Beauty Spot Skin & Body Clinic.
Our dream was to always create a private and relaxing space that feels like a sanctuary for all clients that visit the clinic. We hope to offer an experience that is somewhere a little special to recharge and switch off from the day to day, even if it is for an eyebrow wax.

The love of my classic cars, retro dressing & driving friends to new places around my home, the Barossa Valley, led me to what I am doing now.
My tour car was to be a 1955 Plymouth Belvedere in which I could fulfill my dream, but sourcing of parts was disheartening. It was with great regret that I accepted that the way forward was to buy a brand-new car (my first ever) with air conditioning!
Barossa Wine Tours was born!
I am a local tour guide with a passion for discovering new places and introducing myself to new people. My neighborhood is having an upsurge of activity making for exciting times ahead.
My ‘high’ is seeing my guests having fun making new friends on tour, relaxing and having happy memories to take with them at the end of the day. On my tours, people are what matter.

Your hosts, Peter (Goose) and Sandra Kies together with their 2 daughters Bridgette and Billie-Jo, are fifth and sixth generation Australians living on The Kies’ original family property ‘Hoffnungsthal’ (meaning Valley of Hope). Situated on the southern end of the world-renowned Barossa Valley, settled in 1837.
The Kies family began in the viticulture and fruit growing business in the late 1800’s and continue now growing grapes for Penfolds’ iconic wines.
Instead of taking a mortgage out to buy a family home Goose and Sandra purchased their first helicopter, in May of 1989 a Bell 47J2A, Goose giving the helicopter to Sandra as a Mother’s Day gift.

Australian Elements Tours and Charters is a small family owned company, owned by David and Julie Moss.
David has been involved in tourism in Australia for over 17 years having previously worked as a guide and then within Operations Management with national and international tour companies.
After redundancy in the last tourism downturn, David set up Ops Assist Australia Pty Ltd in response to calls for support from a variety of tour companies needing operational assistance in SA. Australian Elements Tours and Charters came about after those requests for support started to include helping people see our beloved SA.
With such a diverse travel background behind David (including independent travel trips to Everest Base Camp), passion for SA brought David home... and showing people ‘home’ is what he enjoys the most.

Taking ownership of the fire station (decommissioned in the late 1990's) from the South Australian Government in the early 2000’s, Callum and Lauren set about making it into a unique home. Callum, who is a carpenter by trade, made short work of what most would find a daunting task, and decided not to stop there. With a real love of coffee Callum and Lauren soon tired of the supermarket bought variety, so they decide to have a go themselves.

Acacia Arts Studio has opened in Gilbert Street, Adelaide. After residing in Hutt Street for many years we have reassembled as a working craft studio open to the public at various times and by appointment to pickup online orders or browse the treasures available.
We continue to focus on locally designed costume jewellery, beautiful handmade sterling silver jewellery and gemstones necklaces. Also vintage jewellery and collectables, with rethreading and repairs available. A few quirky books and 20th century first editions are at the Studio.
The beautiful World Fair Trade KAZURI jewellery is available here online and in the Studio. Made in Kenya from clay, each bead is hand rolled and carefully shaped, smoothed and fired.
