Australian native foods are creeping into mainstream food preparation.
Chefs and foodies are experimenting with our native ingredients, using lemon myrtle, wattle seed, muntries and quandongs. Green Farmhouse uses many other native ingredients combining them with traditional herbs and spices to create seasonings and salt blends to complement current 'food fashion', an easy flavour fix.
The products have won a swag of medals at Sydney Royal Fine Food. In 2008 Green Farmhouse was the Regional Produce winner in the Limestone Coast WIN TV Tourism Excellence Awards.
