First established in 2004, Habitat Blackwood is a unique gift and homewares shop located in the heart of Blackwood, South Australia, in the Drakes Supermarket precinct. Habitat offers a friendly, colourful and knowledgeable environment with a broad range of stock including candles and diffusers, jewellery, clothing and accessories, photo frames and cushions, ornaments, vases and pots, bath products and more.
Habitat Blackwood has stock available for purchase in the shop either in person or via phone call, online through Shop Local SA and online at www.habitatblackwood.com.au All items available are not listed online.
Stock is sourced from a variety of suppliers - commercial wholesalers, local producers, and from afar. Beautiful hand crafted products come from locals, and are also imported under Fair Trade and ethical practices. Carved soapstone items are ordered directly from craftsmen and women in Kenya. Jewellery and textiles are designed in Australia and crafted by traditional artisans in Cambodia, Laos and Bali. Hand painted ceramics and beautiful bags come from women in their homes in South Africa. Teapots, cone cups and bowls are hand made in Japan. Essential oils are produced in Port Adelaide.
Gift wrapping is complementary. This allows you to purchase a gift and have it delivered straight to the recipient. Same day delivery is available, free of charge within 5 kilometres of Blackwood, if items are ordered directly through the shop before 4pm.

Returns Policy You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). All Loom Designs and Jinja Jewellery orders come with free shipping within mainland Australia. We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
