15ct Gold Retractable Swizzle Stick. Traditionally used to remove bubbles from sparkling Champagne. Swizzle sticks can also be used for stirring cocktails.
To use, simply push down the collar which moves along the barrel, to reveal the 6 pronged stirrer.
This is a wonderful example of a swizzle stick which was made before the 1930's in 15 carat gold, stamped on the centre ball.
This retractable swizzle stick has a ring/bale so it can be worn around the neck as a pendant.
Measures 7 cm long when closed, 11.5 cm long when swizzle is open, not including the ring at the end.
4 grams in weight. This carat gold was not produce after 1932.
